Meetups

Some fantastic developments for the next London Bloggers Meetup – on March 25th – you might like to hear about: 1. the free drinks are back (woo hoo!), courtesy of our great friends at Qype 2. the ‘reviews = booze’ competition is also back so yet another chance to win a case of wine, again thanks to Qype 3. We have a new supporter on board with Buzzspotr – essentially a social messaging system mashup with Twitter, Google maps etc – who will be demo-ing on the night 4. We also now have over 100 members of the group – which means our little community is no longer so little – please all keep blogging about us and encouraging conversation and participation 5. I’ve also been talking to one or two folks about coming along and presenting on the night. Whilst nothing is guaranteed, I may have a legal beagle coming along who will help you all to understand your rights and responsibilities as bloggers. Well, once again I’m sitting at my desk thinking about the previous night’s London Bloggers meetup. And once again I’m feeling rather smug thinking ‘I organised that’, because it was another really great night.

It was as promised a cracking evening on Tuesday. Around 35 or so people turned up to the London Bloggers Meetup, with plenty of established bloggers, several more beginners and a handful of people who haven’t even started yet – although I’d put money on them having got started by now. So what were the highlights?
