New Year Resolutions

January 02, 2012 / by / 0 Comment

If you want to improve your blog or get it started properly, the best time to do it is now. Nobody would argue with that. Sit down, log on and start.

That is how those who are successful do it and, incidentally, that is also how those who are unsuccessful do it. In the latter case, however, the lack of success is attributable to the absence of some other important step. The evidence, however, is irrefutable; to do the things you’ve been thinking about doing for so long requires a resolve that impedes any notions of putting it off for a more ‘appropriate’ time.

It just so happens that ‘now’ is also that time of year where the things you’ve been thinking about doing and have yet to do, can no longer be excusably delayed. For that moment in everyone’s favourite procrastinatory excuse – I’ll do it next year – has arrived. And we plan not to let it pass with a whimper, but to embrace it with a bang!

The London Bloggers Meetup in conjunction, as always, with NuffnangX and others will be kicking off its 2013 itinerary with the topic: Blogging Resolutions: How to improve your blog in 2013. We’ll be listening to an assembled panel of stimulating and informative speakers who’ll be sharing with us their knowledge and insights on such subjects as design and re-designs, adding plugins, switching platforms (always a nightmare!) and using AdSense effectively. Of course, central to the discussion will also be our continued focus on the importance of content. No focus on aspects of improving your blog would be complete without a thorough discussion on finding ways to improve this, its most important asset.

In addition NuffnangX will be giving away two subscriptions to a Condé Nast magazine of the respective winner’s choice. To enter, simply download the NuffnangX app (it’s free!) and show up on the night!

We look forward to seeing you there!
