LBM Audible #15 – How to Blog like a Tyrant
OK so it has been a bit of a break since our last podcast, but we’ve been busy working on developing the show and setting up the recent London Bloggers Meetups so we hope you will forgive us.
Thankfully we found the time recently to meet with Blog Tyrant, also known as Ramsay Taplin, who flew in all the way from Adelaide to join the show. OK so that’s not strictly accurate, but when we found out Ramsay was in London it was a no brainer.
Bernie and I met with Ramsay at Mozilla’s London office and found a quiet meeting room to get some top tips from Ramsay on how to:
> build a blog
> buy and sell a blog
> write great content
> email marketing
…and a whole lot more.
Actually the meeting room was packed with toys – an electric drum kit, arcade machine, xbox and a lot more. Rather random for a corporate office building in Central London, but rather suited the conversation between three guys who generally work from home. We’re no stranger to distractions when trying to get work done.
It was a great pleasure to meet with Ramsay and we hope you find the show useful. as ever if you enjoy what you hear please leave some feedback on iTunes or in the comments below.

Thanks so much for having me on guys! It was a great day, despite the weather. :-)
It was a pleasure. I seem to remember the weather being pretty much standard English grey skies, which I guess is a world apart from the sunnier climes of Adelaide… Next time you are over drop by and we’ll do this again! Failing that there’s always Skype.
Interesting post. Always wondered how people created and then sold blogs. Liked the open comments about being fed up with working with clients!
